Key Responsibilities:
- Loading furniture, computer monitors, and other items onto moving trucks and
unloading them at the destination, ensuring that all items are moved without damage. - Assist in packing items securely for transport and unpacking them at the new location,
following established procedures to protect belongings.
- Work as part of a team, requiring effective communication and coordination to ensure
a smooth moving process. - Keeping an accurate inventory of items being moved is crucial to prevent loss or
damage during transportation. - Assemble or disassemble furniture as required during the move.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing client queries and ensuring
satisfaction throughout the moving process is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Must possess the physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual
labor for extended periods. - Being meticulous in handling items to prevent damage is critical, especially to IT
equipment. - Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but not always necessary; training
may be provided. - Understanding and adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injuries and damage to
property is essential.
